AI Agronomist is live in the

OneSoil app

Reading time - 7 minutes

We raised $1M to build it - an assistant that analyzes your field and answers questions in plain language based on your unique data. Available now in your OneSoil App

Today we're launching AI Agronomist - a new feature in the OneSoil mobile app that answers questions about your specific field, based on its real data. The product was built with $1M raised from our current investors, including Yury Melnichek of Melnichek Investments.

So what is it, in plain terms?
AI Agronomist is a chat tied to your field inside the OneSoil app. It already knows that field and needs no extra data, no separate downloads, and it isn't tied to selling any farm products.

Its only job is to help you make decisions, with quality answers to your questions grounded in your own real data.

Here's how it works

AI Agronomist reads what satellites see and, within the boundaries of your field, analyzes the historical data: crop rotation over past years, previously applied pesticides, seed varieties, historical yields. It factors in the weather, the stage of the season - and everything you or your team add along the way.
Then it gives you a clear answer in plain language: what's happening, which zones need attention, what to check before the next operation.

You can ask it things like "What has changed in the last 48 hours?" or "Compare field development this season to past seasons" - and the answer will be grounded in the actual satellite data of your field, not in general farming advice.
AI Agronomist is essentially an additional brain for a farmer - it remembers everything, calculates quickly, and provides the information needed to make operational decisions. On a typical 1,000-hectare farm, a farmer often manages more than 20 fields. Instead of 20 dashboards, they get just one good answer.
Stepan Zulynskyi
CEO of OneSoil
AI Agronomist remembers everything you have done on the field - what was sprayed, what you noticed while scouting - none of it gets lost in the chat. It becomes part of the field's context and improves every future answer.

Under the hood, AI Agronomist is a multimodal AI agent that combines large language models with OneSoil's own models for field boundaries, crop detection, and productivity zones - trained on data we've been accumulating since 2017. Our agronomists shaped how it thinks: what insights to highlight, which recommendations to prioritize, how to respond in a way that's actually useful in the field.
What we've been doing all these years is learning how to process satellite data and extract meaningful agricultural insights. And now we've transferred that knowledge into the agent.

CPO of OneSoil
The timing matters. Input costs keep climbing - in Europe, nitrogen fertilizer prices rose about 20% in a single month. Tools that help farmers do more with fewer resources aren't a luxury anymore. "The assistant helps farmers understand how to achieve at least the same level of productivity using fewer resources," Kate Kheistver adds.

Available now. AI Agronomist comes as a subscription in the OneSoil mobile app: choose the OneSoil Mobile + AI Agronomist plan right in the app. Pricing scales with your workspace size.
